This PRIVATE full day tour explores the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara, the Sphinx which is a dream of many people all over the world. Your day begins with being picked up at your hotel and meeting your Egyptologist guide. First on your day, you will visit the Giza pyramids and Sphinx. Realize a dream held by many people all over the world! Your guide will provide you with all the history and information about the pyramids as you explore each one. Experience the mysterious Sphinx: the largest statue in Ancient Egypt carved of one single piece of limestone! You will also visit the Valley Temple to learn about how the Pharaohs were mummified and mummification. During your tour, your guide will make sure that you will have enough time to take photos, and to enjoy some of the options such as going inside the burial chamber of any of the pyramids, having a camel ride at the edge of the Sahara or visiting the Solar Boat Museum (all options at additional cost). You may like to visit a Papyrus Institute and Museum to see how this genuine artwork is produced. A short car ride away, you will then visit the area of Sakkara: the main necropolis during the old kingdom. There you will visit the complex of the Step Pyramid: the oldest pyramid and stone structure in 2800 B.C. . You can explore the area accompanied by your guide and enter one of the Tombs Of The Nobles to see how the daily life of the ancient Egyptians is reflected on the tomb walls. Your next adventure site, Memphis, Egypt’s first capital city of 3100 B.C is home to an open-air museum where you will discover the second largest Sphinx, the colossus of the great Pharaoh Ramses II, and many other significant antiquities. After this full day tour, you will return back to your hotel, loaded up with a lifetime of memories.
